Quick Games For Parties
These quick games to play at parties require
minimal preparation and provide maximum enjoyment.
This fun party game requires no
props and so is ideal as a spur of the moment game to fill in time or if a
previously planned game has had to be abandoned.
Players must pay attention to the words being called out. When they hear the
words 'green light' they jump forwards. 'Red light' means they have to jump
backwards. When 'green light' is suddenly changed to 'orange light' players
must jump forwards just as they would on hearing 'green light'. Players who
make mistakes are eliminated till one player, the winner, is left.

Here's a quick game for parties
that is a little bit silly but quaranteed to be lots of fun. All you need is
paper, string and felt-tip-pens. Most of us with children are sure to have
these things to hand.
Tie the felt-tip-pen to the player's foot. Their task is to write a word as
legibly as possible. The word you choose will depend on the age group of your
party goers. The winner is the person who writes the word the neatest. You can
give out sweets as prizes and even have 2nd and 3rd runners up if it's a tough
Muddle
This quick game for parties ensures a little
stretching and a lot of participation.
Divide your participants into two teams. Team 1 stands with their backs turned.
Team 2 join hands with each other and form a circle. They then tangle
themselves up by stepping over each others hands, taking care not to let go.
When team 2 are ready, team 1 can turn around and untangle their friends.
You can add time limits to make it more exciting, perhaps allowing younger
participants a little longer to complete the tasks.
This quick game for parties will definitely
produce a few giggles.
Players arrange themselves in a circle. Begin by whispering a long sentence in
a player's ear. They then whisper the sentence in the ear of the person sitting
next to them, and so it continues around the circle. When the message reaches
the last person in the circle this person repeats out loud what they have
heard. You can then reveal what the original sentence was.
