Trick or Treat Lucky Dip
Resources:

* Two lucky dip bags/sacks or containers
* Coloured card or paper cut in the shape of a witches hat. You will need one for each guest.
* Enough treats for everyone.

Before placing the witches hats in one of the lucky dip bags, write either trick or treat on the backs. For the trick witch?s hats you will need to write a Halloween task to be done. These can be things like: fly around the room like a bat, make a face like a monster, do the zombie walk, show everyone how to ride on an imaginary broomstick, make a ghost noise, be a witch and cast a pretend spell. You may wish to adjust activities depending on the age of your participants.

In the other lucky dip receptacle put the treats that players will win or earn.

Each player takes a turn to dip their hand into the lucky dip and chose a witch?s hat. Those who select a hat with trick written on the reverse must complete the task before they can pick a treat from the lucky dip treat bag.
Mix 'n' Match Halloween Hunt
Resources:

* 5 spider shapes
* 5 ghost shapes
* 5 witch hats
* 5 pumpkins
* Small Halloween gifts/sweets/chocolates/balloons
Hide the coloured shapes all around the house. Send the children out on the Halloween hunt to collect as many shapes as they can. When all the shapes have been found the prizes can be awarded. Each different shape gets a different Halloween treat.

For example, people with ghost shapes get a chocolate, spider shapes can be exchanged for candies, pumpkins for balloons and so on. The hunters should all end up with a few different prizes each.
